What a fortunate windfall for us to be smack dab in the middle between 70% of These United States and Coachella. Not only is our lovely city placed in a prime spot for astrological observation and lightning watching, but it’s one of VHS or BETA’s most favoritest spots in the world. The boys are coming back to Tucson and throwing an ALL AGES show for everyone who wants to dance and set the night on fire (that is totally an on-purpose name drop of that amazing song)! Oh! And if you want to be blown away, check out their new album: Bring on the Comets, listen to “Love in My Pocket,” “Can’t Believe a Single Word,” “Fall Down Lightly,” “We Could Be One” and “Time Stands Still.” They are ALL hits. IT JUST DOESN’T STOP. It’s like VHS or BETA is made from a polymetal alloy and keeps busting out the jams with methodical relentlessness.

So why drive all the way out to the desert and pay crump loads of cash to check out your favorite act when you can just spend most of your day practicing dance moves, getting fresh fly style for the show and getting to check out a band in a dance party house?

It’s April 24th and it’s a Thursday so you know what that means! It’s also an Optimist Club party! You got that? DANCE ALL NIGHT.
