MOSTLY BEARS! We are super proud to host the Mostly Bears Cd Release Show .
Just a couple months ago , Mostly Bears release their EP here at our club and since then its been a fast and intense couple of months with constantly playing, recording , finding a new Record label (Funzola) and completing their first west coast tour! Releasing The Ed Mitchell Clinic, expect to see Mostly Bears breaking into your top listened artist list of 2008. Speaking of breaking, we heard that Mostly Bears is breaking the Top 40 to #36! on CMJ and climbing the charts!

Joining The BEARS is What Laura Says Thinks and Feels! After creating a buzz in SXSW, WLSTaF is coming back to play with the bears for this special evening. Heres what one blogger (shout outs to Ultra8201!)had to say about the five-piece band from Tempe, Arizona. They share a love for the Beach Boys’ mid 60’s Pet Sounds and Smile era, which you can definitely hear in their vocal harmonies… The guys aren’t a simple guitar, bass, and drums outfit, but five multi-instrumentalists who incorporate keyboards, the ukulele, multilayered harmonies, and a multitude of found objects in drummer Woolsey’s percussion station. Talk about being experimental, Woolsey has gone from bells and tambourine to a one-man jar/coffee can/egg shaker/clave contraption in which no household object is safe.
And Hailing from San Fransisco, Leopold and His Fiction! This two piece from the bay area just doubly fattened the bill for this night. 3 amazing bands, One Cd Release show! One night only!
“The Motor City man and the Kaintuck kid crossed paths here in San Francisco…there’s no need for other band members to edit their sound because they’ve got it well covered between the two of them.” -Delfin Vigil, San Francisco Chronicle
