As part of our International Film Fest week long extravaganza, we putting together a diverse night of acoustic song playing for every one and all.

David D’alessio

This isn’t the same David D’alessio who served as the lead singer of Let’s English. Well, he is, technically, the same person but the sound is so completely different that we’re looking at him in a whole new light. After retreating to sunny Florida & working with musicians that otherwise lend their talent to Latin superstars Shakira, Ricky Martin & Enrique Iglesias, D’alessio now has a full-length album of his very own. Impressive, huh? songs to undress your ego is, quite honestly, a fully-enjoyable experience. Best described as singer-songwriter folk in the style of Jeff Buckley, backed with Latin infused instrumentals, & themed in the carefree, reflective style of Donovan Frankenreiter or Jack Johnson - this is our summer soundtrack.

Maya Cabellero

“Maya’s musical style captures the flavor of her Southwestern stomping ground with the urban flair of her NYC roots. As her audience is captivated by her beauty, her emotionally powerful songs cry the unspoken voices of tragedies she has encountered in her travels, including domestic violence, child abuse, rape, addiction, death and suicide. She sings her heart out with true love and passion! Bring tissues and expect to get choked up, but know that in the darkness is an Aurelia Borealis about to break through!” ~April Sandmeyer, Industry Insider

What can be said about 5 ft2 that your mother didn’t warn you about when you were young?    Not your typical acoustic act,  this little bundle of sticks is  just a one strike away from becoming a flaming hot assault of 6 string ball rockin’.  Sound  interesting? just wait until he starts to talk.
