Father Larry’s Rock Revelations: 6:25

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Father Larry; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Rock Revelations: 6:25

Blues is heading out for another tour and Father Larry is giving them his unholy blessing of rock. Blues has been the ultimate in hardcore/space rock ever since they were all born. Basically the story is: boys meet girls, girls give birth to 5 dudes who rock, 5 dudes tear down a ceiling during a show in California and then go on to destroy just about everything.

If you have been a fan of Blues for a while, it’s time to head out and check out their new material. It’s fresh and tasty!

Via Vengeance

Via Vengeance’s songs sound gritty, dense, and calculated. The rhythms are snappy and solid, with seamless, simple timing changes that often lead into even simpler guitar interludes, but show attention to composition nonetheless. Not that Via Vengeance is machinistic prog rock by any stretch of the imagination. This is raw, hard stuff, oozing with slow, booming backbeats, and bludgeoned by stoner rock power chords. Songs like “Bad Treat” and “Burned” seep with sludgy, doom-laden sounds, while tracks like “Only Strong Survive” and “Black Lung” are a bit more linear, marching forward on sharp snare beats and gruff vocals.

Holy Dose

Holy Dose will start off the night with their DEBUT show. That’s right, it’s a NEW band and this is their first show. Chris, Noah, Mike and Alex make up Holy Dose, and judging by their MySpace it’s going to be insanely loud and insanely heavy.

Oh and best of all, this show is presented FREE OF CHARGE
