TROY’S BUCKET
We tried to write a funny, witty and enthusiastic little blurb for Troy’s Bucket’s show this Wednesday, but everything we wrote was basically knocked out of the park by their very own bio. Whoever wrote this deserves a limited edition Series 4 Dunny variant.
What’s more exhilarating than your first live, barroom fueled, music orgy? Having Arizona’s Troy’s Bucket headline the show! TB has been blowing out eardrums and rocking your socks off since 1999. What’s with that name? The band took their name from the 80’s movie classic, “The Goonies.” Their horn infused punk ska & metal features melodic harmonies, furious drums, raging riffs and the horniest of all horn sections. In 1999, members of the University of Arizona Marching Band began meeting in a converted garage during the late hours of the night. Using the Marching Band as a beginning fan base, the band quickly earned the loyalty of fans from all over the world. Working their way through Tucson’s clubs, frat and house parties and dives earned them the title as the ULTIMATE party and drinking band. Today, Troy’s Bucket can be seen with notable punk and ska celebs like Aaron Barrett of Reel Big Fish, Monique Powell of Save Ferris, Streetlight Manifesto, and the guys from Suburban Legends. TB has appeared alongside legendary bands such as The Slackers and Fishbone. Troy’s Bucket is sure to keep the punk ska scene young and skankin’, slamming and screaming beyond the 21st century.
