Dear and the Headlights
Dear and the Headlights is not only a great band from Phoenix, they’re also a lesson in homophones. It’s a type of homonym, a word that is pronounced the same as another word but differs in meaning, like carrot and karat or um…bear and bare. Veel free to use this knowledge bomb during drunken bar convo, geek chic.
Equal Vision’s Dear and Headlights are coming down to T-Town to show us some of the Phx rock style. Opening up for bands like Jimmy Eat World, they are primed for the big time. Make sure to head down early to check out a great bill of bands,
Holy Rolling Empire

Holy Rolling Empire is the hometown slugger on this little pan ‘Zona line up tonight with their catchy, epic and poppy rock. What to expect from such attractive boys? Nothing but top notch music and a top notch performance.
What Laura (says thinks and feels)
What Laura Says Thinks & Feels & Source Victoria. Throwing grammar (or is it usage?) to the wind, What Laura Says Thinks & Feels may be one of your new favorite bands. In the world. They take a sort of a folky & somewhat bluesy approach at the Brit-pop style. It’s catchy hooks & creative structuring all around. On the song “Wish To Fly” the guys of WLST&F get creative with vocal layering; using their voices as instruments they weave “ooh-ohs” with “ah-ahs” with bass vocals — they have created a modernized barbershop sound that is completely different from any other singles. These five guys are successfully Creative (with a capital C) & happily, they have the talent to pull it off. Goosebumps!
