Okkervil River
It’s been almost a year since Okkervil River played at Club Congress, and those who were there know that this show is not to be missed. Having released one of the best albums of 2007 and put out an excellent mixtape album months later, Okkervil River is not only prolific but putting outQuality Material, material that resonates both recorded and live.
Rivers are often the arteries of civilizations; like burglars and blood, they run through something, bringing things in and taking things away. If you live near a river, it is a constant presence in your life. There is a reason cities are built on rivers; you can go for days without food but not without water. There is a reason why, when you Google “Okkervil River,” you get 10 pages of people praising their music. Annie Holub, Tucson Weekly
Our Internet Research Department took Annie Holub’s Google remark to task and found out that there are, in fact, over 20 pages of results of people praising Okkervil River.
Sea Wolf

Oh, a band with “Wolf” in the name, you know it’s hip! Ah, we kid! Long time Tucson fans and 2nd time Tucson players, Sea Wolf is busting out tour support for Okkervil River.
